SURFING:Yaroomba beach breaks are a powerful and short with a quality peaky bowl sections formed by the reefs just off the beach. On a high tide surf the reefs just off the shore for left and right peaks. Take care the wave can be unpredictable and the bottom is hard and sharp.
FISHING:Excellent fishing during the winter months. Huge Jew fish can be caught off the beach and from the rocks with a pilchard or mullet strip on gang hooks. Good catches of Bream, Dart and Flathead taken on the beach all year round.
WALKING:A dirt track runs 1km along the top of Point Arkwright with an excellent lookout along the way. Stick to the track and use the lookouts provided as a superb viewing and photo opportunity.
