SURFING:Noosa
Main Beach, patrolled by Noosa Surf Lifesaving Club is popular
with visitors all year round. Waves rarely over a metre in height
and a flat sandy ocean bottom provide a safe opportunity for
newcomers to familiarise themselves with the ocean. The warm
clear waters provide a refreshing rest stop before and after
the long hike through Noosa National Park.
FISHING:Fish
from the either of the two rock walls during winter for sea
bream, taylor and dart. Whiting, bream and flathead can be caught
all year round.
WALKING:Walk
north to the river mouth or south through the Noosa National
Park to the various points and bays. Walk the beach or the paths
just behind the sand dunes. The tranquil walks north through
the National Park are world renown. |
