FEATURES:Covered

Telephone, Café/shops. The park offers a great family atmosphere
and there is always a weekend cricket game in the park for the
kids.
SURFING:On
a strong southeast swell Moffat’s offers a long spilling right-hand
wave popular with the long-board riders. The body boarders have
been known to ride the shore break, which can get quite heavy
on a high tide. A 20 minute paddle straight out will get an
experienced surfer only to Caloundra reef. A heavy barrelling
wave, on its day can be compared to pipeline. The conditions
have to be right with a solid swell with a light westerly offshore
wind a good starting point. If you catch it when it is on you
will never forget the experience. The spot should only be surfed
by an experienced wave rider.
FISHING:Can
be fished in the evening or early morning for mixed results.

Stroll around the rocks north to Shelly beach, south to Dicky
beach. |
