SURFING:Good
quality beach breaks on shifting banks all year round. When
the coffee is exposed waves can get a little hairy. The Experienced
surfer can try Pincushion to the north.
FISHING:Find
a good gutter for catches of Bream, dart, whiting, flathead,
taylor and jew all year round. To achieve best results fish
with a slight westerly wind at your back.
WALKING:Stroll
north to Maroochydore river mouth. A nice walkway exists from
the beach along Maroochydore River and Cotton Tree Park to the
city centre. Playgrounds, undercover eating areas and BBQ are
scattered along this concrete walkway. |
