FEATURES:BBQs,
picnic facilities and childrens playground are at Golden beach.
Parks are scattered all along the waterfront. Nearby the Caloundra
Power Boat Club meets.
SURFING:There
is no surf on Golden beach though it is a popular spot for wind
surfing.
FISHING:Fish
from the shore for whiting and flathead. Very few snags should
give the children an opportunity to enjoy the day and maybe
even catch a few. Hire a boat to fish the bay during winter
for Bream, Taylor, Jew and most other river species.
WALKING:A
cement path runs alongside the entire length of golden beach.
To walk the entire length would take approximately 2 hours.
