SURFING:Is
known to have a nice clean wave for the body boarders and holidaymakers.
The South point can have a clean right-hand wave. A 20 minute
paddle straight out will get an experienced surfer only to Caloundra
reef. A heavy barrelling wave, on its day can be compared to
pipeline. The conditions have to be right with a solid swell
with a light westerly offshore wind a good starting point. If
you catch it when it is on you will never forget the experience.
The spot should only be surfed by an experienced wave rider.
FISHING:Can
be fished in the evening or early morning for mixed results.
WALKING:Short
