SURFING:An easterly facing beach. A good bank can usually be found near the lake mouth. A receding tide can make the waves stand up. Inexperienced surfers take care on strong tides.
FISHING:There is some great fishing to be had. Bring a Yabbie pump, cast net or bait net to catch live bait. Great catches of all the river species and ocean species taken all year round. During the holiday season fish the mornings or evening to avoid crowds.
WALKING:Take a walk along the rivers edge, through the park or to the beach.
