Gold Coast Beaches Accommodation
The Gold Coast has an abundance
of beautiful sandy beaches along its vast
coastline. The Gold Coast boasts over 70
kilometres of beach, stretching from the
famous Greenmount at the far south of the
Gold Coast to The Spit at the northern end.
Tourists and locals flock to the beaches
all year round in huge numbers enjoying
the safe patrolled swimming zones (flagged
areas) that are provided by local council
lifeguards and the local Surf Clubs lifesavers.
|
|
Remember to always swim between
the flags and check with local lifeguards
for beach conditions if unsure before entering
the water. Never swim on a full stomach.
Apply sun cream at regular intervals if
spending a prolonged amount of time in the
sun.
