FEATURES:Laze around on the expansive beach and enjoy a broad range of beach activities. A viewing boardwalk exists at the very south of the beach. Take the walk up the hill to Point Danger and enjoy brilliant views in all directions from the Point Danger viewing platform with full wheel chair access.
SURFING:Snapper Rocks comes into its own when the swell is a good size from the southeast. It picks up the most swell of all the points and is the first to pump when the swell is on the way up. A very heavy take off tapering into a chargeable wall creating a short but sweet ride that will not be forgotten. As the swell rises, the wave gets longer and heavier with a clean top to bottom barrel for as far as the eye can see.
FISHING:Fish off the rocks during a small swell for some quality catches of bream, dart and taylor. Fish during a westerly wind for ease of casting and look for the deep holes on a predominately sandy bottom.
WALKING:Take a stroll north along the beachfront beneath the Norfolk Island Pines watching the waves and enjoying the sights. You will find some brilliant views to the north along the way.
