Patrol hours, 8.00am - 5.00pm except during winter months where patrolled 8.30am - 3.30pm. Walk to the north and up onto the cliff and enjoy a brilliant view in both north and south directions. During a clear night you can see Surfers Paradise in all its beauty. The beach is protected from the hot summer northeasterly winds by the cliff. Take a stroll or park at Mick Schamburg Park and all it has to offer.

Local Surf Life Saving Club - North Burleigh SLSC

FEATURES:Enjoy a picnic lunch along the comfortably seated deck adjacent to the beach or just relax on the beach in the sun.
SURFING:Best during north easterly swells when nice powerful beach breaks can be found. If the swell is up head to Burleigh Heads Point just south for quality right handers.
FISHING:North Burleigh offers an excellent fishing opportunity along the beach and near the rocks for all species. Find a deep hole and you're away. Take care and know the tide and swell before venturing to close to the breaking waves.
WALKING:Take pleasure in a path walk from North Burleigh to Burleigh Heads National Park. Norfolk Island Pines provide a protective cover from the suns hot rays after noon so time your walk for then.
