FEATURES:At the south end of the beach you will find BBQ's, sheltered picnic areas and toilets or take the walk up the hill to Point Danger and enjoy the brilliant views in all directions from Point Danger viewing platform which offers full wheel chair access. You can park at the top of the hill right at the tower.
SURFING:When everywhere else on the Gold Coast is too small, Duranbah is the place to head. Duranbah has an uncanny ability to offer a good powerful wave even on the smallest swell. When the swell is up the area is best for the experienced surfer.
FISHING:Excellent fishing all year round try the beach at dawn or dusk or fish the tweed bar off the rock wall for quality catches of all species.
WALKING:Take a stroll along the tweed river or out to the rock wall to the navigational tower.
