FEATURES: Currumbin Lake is a great place for a dip. Take advantage of the covered eating areas and BBQ facilities. Remember not to swim on a full stomach and always swim between the flags.
SURFING:A nice right hander over a sandy bottom across the river mouth. Works best on a medium southeast swell and light winds from north to southwest. Currumbin is a popular spot with all surf craft getting out there. Also try the beach breaks on a good bank where a powerful fast left and right break can be found.
FISHING:Excellent fishing. Try off the rock wall into the river for flathead and bream, the beach during dawn and dusk for Taylor or the river all day long for whiting.
WALKING:Take a walk out the rock wall to view the crystal clear waters and enjoy the sights to the north and south. Walk along the beach to the south to Currumbin rock with its magnificent views.
