Day One
Arrived at Gemini at last, do I need a holiday! The
staff were great, really friendly and welcoming. This foyer is beautiful,
really spacious and the kids loved the indoor waterfall and goldfish.
The car is safely parked in the underground security car park. I
think we'll order room service breakfast and sleep in tomorrow.

Day Two
Woke up to this view! We can see the headland of Caloundra,
Pumicestone Passage, Bribie and Moreton Islands. The kids have been
using the binoculars from downstairs to watch the cargo boats going
past in the shipping channel on their way to Brisbane. We have this
view from both bedrooms and the living room, it is spectacular.
Think we might hire 4 kayaks and paddle over to Bribie today, it's
meant to be beautiful. We can stop for a rest on the sand banks
on the way and have a look at all the stingrays

Day
Three
The kids have discovered the pool and the water slide.
I don't think I will ever get them out. This is not really a problem
as I can see them from our balcony where I am reading a good book.
Steve is inside having a massage from the in house masseuse. My
turn tomorrow! After his massage I think we'll all take advantage
of the free indoor spa and sauna downstairs. If we've got any energy
left this afternoon we will take the push bikes on the 5 km bike
track that runs along the waterfront.

Day Four
This room is fantastic, it's the biggest holiday unit
I've ever stayed in. We've all got our own space. The free cable
TV and in house movies are great entertainment. We've also saved
a lot from cooking all our own meals in the well equipped kitchen,
with dishwasher and microwave. The laundry with washing machine
and dryer is handy for washing our togs and towels.

Day Five
We loaded the whole family on the Island Cruses Pontoon
Boat for a morning tour around Pumicestone Passage, Pelican Waters
Canal Estate and over to Bribie Island for morning tea. Captain
Ron hauled in some crab pots and let the kids steer the boat and
have a ride on the surfski behind the boat. They loved it! Tonight
we've bought some fish and prawns that we'll cook up on the gas
BBQ's downstairs while we have a hit of tennis.

Day Six
Stuart on the desk told us about "Kids Day Out
Tours". He booked it all and now the kids are spending the
day at the Indoor Rock Climbing Gym, the Big Pineapple and Zone
3 Laser Games with lunch at Big Rooster. The best thing is Steve
and I now have a whole glorious day to ourselves. We might pop into
Caloundra Cinema and catch a movie before they get back.
Day Seven
Oh sad day! Our holiday is almost over, one last swim
in the Passage and Steven was up early to catch that elusive flathead
off Gemini's Jetty. The kids keep saying "one more go down
the water slide, please Mum". Oh well, luckily we've booked
two weeks next year.
